| [05-06-2004 09:50:10 CET] The brand new Erasure-album Nightbird has been completed and is due for release in January 2005. The album, primarily recorded on softwaresynths (a.e. a computer), is mixed by Tom Elmhirst whose previous mixing credits include Busted, Kylie Minogue, the Sugababes and Goldfrapp. The first single from the album is a track called Breathe and will also be out in the start of next year. | [17-07-2003 13:50:35 CET] Erasure Info today confirmed that Mute will release an Erasure greatist hits album called Hits! and a DVD with all the the band's videos and an additional disc containing over 2 hours of extras. Hits! will be available on CD, Ltd CD with free bonus disc and DVD. The album will be in the shops on October 20th, and will be preceded by a single released on 13th October.

| [17-06-2003 15:27:30 CET] According to German site e-lectric, Erasure is planning a new best of album entitled A Little Respect. The double-album will be released on September 22nd. Also, the site mentions the release of an acoustic cd. A dvd called Total Respect is also in the works, containing the complete set of videos for the singles, to be released the same day. |
| [11-06-2003 00:34:36 CET] Erasure ended their 2003-tour, The Other Tour, here in Copenhagen on Monday, june 9th, playing a one and a half hour long set with hits from (almost) all the albums. The concert was recorded for a possible dvd-release in the near future. For those of you who understand Danish, there is online reviews of the concert from the newspaper B.T. (check out the photo) and from Jyllands-Posten. Bottom line of both reviews: Great fun but nothing new. Greatest hits from the 80’s. |
| [18-02-2003 23:12:52 CET] The second single to be taken from Other People's Songs, Make Me Smile [Come Up And See Me], is currently scheduled for release on 7th April. The single will be available on two CD formats and a DVD format, the single will include the original 'Vince Clarke directed' promotional video for 'Solsbury Hill'. Also, Erasure will release a full-length live DVD, recorded at last year's Christmas Concert, is being prepared for release in May. The DVD will be available exclusively from the Mute Bank and at shows on Erasure's UK tour during
that month, according to Erasure Information Service. |
| [04-02-2003 22:56:00 CET] Erasure's album Other People's Songs have entered the British albums chart at number 17. Also, the band have extended their upcoming tour, The Other Tour, to include gigs in both Germany and Denmark (Vega, Copenhagen on June 9th). The next single to be lifted from the album will be Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me) to be released in April. |

On wednesday, February 12th, at 21.00 CET the national Danish radio station P4 airs a special portrait of Yazoo by Danish journalist Jesper Lind. The programme tells the retrospective story about Yazoo. Don't panic if you live outside of the radio stations reach; the programme will be available via the internet on this address. The programme will run for a second time on P3 on March 3rd. |
